| We see no reason why states who set tariffs on our products should export to our country without any tariffs. If we want to force them to give up their tariffs, we should tariff their products as well. |

Old value:: The nation does not impose any tariffs or quotas on imports.
Current: The nation allows for imports, but imposes "ethical" tariffs on nations with lower environmental and labour rights standards.
Proposed: The nation imposes reciprocal tariffs on imports, with no tariffs imposed on states which impose no tariffs on our exports.
