We see no reason why states who set tariffs on our products should export to our country without any tariffs. If we want to force them to give up their tariffs, we should tariff their products as well.

MessageWe of the Hauthorn party believe that Tarrifs only hurt the citizens of our country by driving up the costs of goods. If other nations wish to deprive their citizens of the fine products of Zardugal, that is their loss. We don't see a reason to restrict theirs from our nation.

Message"I am rather pleased with this policy. If other nations deprive themselves of our trade, then why not make a little money off of their foolishness?"

Message"Make a little money? Sure, through tax, an unfair tax. We'd also make money by setting the tax rate at 100%, same concept.

If consumers, the people, actual Zardugalies believed that our products were superior to that of other nations, they'll spend their money accordingly.

This is just another example of Zardugal's leaders telling people how to spend their own money, after tax, naturally."
