Bill: Aesthetic bill 2481 "Ensuring freedom of decision"

Details

Submitted by[?]: "Le Chaim" - Aesthetic Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2482

Description[?]:

"Every man is a beginning. Nobody is just the result of a biological pseudo-chain of causation, every man is a beginning and has the ability (and I think the duty) of breaking causalities. Everybody can decide at any time and by his decisions does a man determine his life and his very own being. Living is making decisions all the time, most of them even without knowing. [...]
Patronizing people is the wrong way, the state mustn't impose his will on his people, everybody should have the freedom of decision, the freedom to decide his own path of life and small daily banalities. Not the man has to serve the state as invulnerable and unchangeable institution (idol?) but the state has to serve human being. And that means the state has to enable decision..."

Ephrajm Chajm Dichter, party leader

Random fact: Moderation will not approve a Cultural Protocol request within the first 48 hours of it being requested. This is in order to give other players a chance to query the proposed changes, if they wish to do so. Moderation may be approached for advice on a proposed change, but any advice proffered should always be understood under the provisio that no final decision will be made until at least 48 hours after the request has been formally submitted for approval.

Random quote: "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting that vote." - Unknown
