Admittedly, we have used it in a different variant form - conventionallly, it means to reduce BY 10%, rather than TO 10% - but it can also mean to take a tenth FROM - and that is the angle we were going for - the new corporate tax would tax only one-tenth. |

| Message | [OOC] First and foremost, Immeressen, we did AGREE that the historical usage of the word that AMSuDP used in saying "to reduce by a tenth or to a tenth" was CORRECT; however, his meaning is an OBSOLETE definition which is no longer used. I used the word in the context to "destroy a large number of" to the point that it is nearly eliminated (90% etc.). Therefore, we both were correct. [IC] To the PEOPLE of the Axis Mundi Likatonian Res Publica & The Distinguished Members of this Convocation: (1) As for the dubious and ambiguous language in the bill that says we are "traitors to the CROWN" upon passage of 50% of the legislature, we concur with--after careful deliberations with our distinguished attorneys and independent judges of Likatonia--the fact that that clause in the contract of this resolution is automatically NULLIFIED!!!! Why??? (2) First, the AMSuDP spoke in the "authoritative voice" of the so-called god, Immeressen Incarnate, but we do NOT recognize Immeressen as a legitimate authority and therefore any "prophetic revelations" from his ministers is TOILET PAPER!!! It would be the same way if I made a "prophetic revelation" that Jesus Christ orders all members of the Convocation to vote for Capitalistic legislation when followers of the Immeressen Religion don't recognize Christ as an authority. (3) Second, the usage of the (literal) word "CROWN" automatically negates any such contract or resolution b/c the REPUBLIC of Likatonia is NOT a monoarchy nor has claimed to be, but rather a PARLIMENTARY DEMOCRACY!!! Therefore, in a nutshell, if there is no "crown" in Likatonia, there is no one that can be LEGALLY stripped of that crown (common sense). (4) Third, even if in the condition that we acknowledged the fact that Immeressen is a legitimate authority as the "One True God," the claims have ABSOLUTELY NO MERIT for the simple fact that this Convocation voted to legally ABOLISH the Theocracy dedicated to the cult of Immeressen. In other words, the Republic of Likatonia "has erected [by the voice of this Convocation] a clear WALL of SEPERATION between Church & State!!!" (5) Finally, the AMSuDP does not even have legitimate LEGAL authority to pronounce the CWFP "traitors to the [Nation]" (in which the word "nation" was not even "technically" used, for that matter) b/c they were neither elected by the PEOPLE as Emissary (Head of State) or even by this Convocation as "First Advocate" (Head of Government, who chairs the Cabinet). | Message | Legally speaking, if you carefully analyse our text, our preamble said: Allowing that "The Axis Mundi Sturm und Drang partei are representatives...", "We believe that..." and "We speak in the name of..." We didn't claim that it was Immeressen that gave some sort of special authority to the bill. We just stated our faith articles. A 'traitor to the crown' is an enemy of a sovereign state - with or without a monarchy. Perhaps the CWFP can show us a bill that specifically abolishes Immeressence? Immeressen is a god on earth, thus is not bound by any laws that target mystical mumbojumbo 'our god can't be PROVED' to exist religions. Separation of Church and State becomes irrelevent when a god IS your minister. And.. if you doubt the existence of Immeressen, we suggest you sit two chairs downwind of him on currynight... believe us, Immeressen exists, and he isn't always a benevolent god. Lastly - the AM SuDP didn't declare the CWFP traitors... almost the whole Convocation did - including the CWFP. Thus - the authority of both First Advocate AND Emissary can be claimed. |

The law doesn't prohibit being a religious party, just - at this time - forming a national state policy based on one exclusive faith.
