MessageWe would also like smarter and better citizens, but the students more suited for a vocational route shouldn't be forced to stay in education and disrupt the academic students.

MessageIn this country you are considered an adult at the age of 17. It makes no sense to force an adult to two years of education. It must be their choice.

One of the few things I would consider to force upon adults are a term in the military or civil service after end education.

For the OGP to support this law, we will have to change the age at which you become a legal adult.

MessageThe Democrats believe that education is much more important than civil or military service. We also wonder why the OGP believe that you can force one thing but cannot force others.

MessageMilitary service is for the protection of the country (and paid for by the country).

Education is a personal choice. I agree that we need educated people, but once they turn adults they ought to be free to choose.

It puzzles me that the Democrats accuse the OGP of forcing adults to do something and not the other, when they themselves do this by voting yes to this, but no to other such legislation. As of today, Lourennian citizens are not forced to join the military, and that is fine with the OGP, why should they be forced into education, if they'd rather work?
