| We would like to tidy up the legislation surrounding nationality and citizenship. At present everyone born here or born to Telamonian parents etc. recieves Telamonian nationality whilst immigrants may gain it on passing a test. This is fine, however at the present time nobody may use government services, claim a passport etc. or other things given by citizenship until they have passed another exam, which ALL must sit. This is effect means that we have a 2 tier systrem for citizens. We would like to change this to make citizenship rights automatic to all Telamonian nationals. Obviously immigrants still have to pas a test to become nationals and therefore citizens, but nationals will not have to sit another test. |
