From | We Say So! Party | To | Debating the The future of Hobrazia's energy | Message | We disagree. Private competition allows for improvements in service quality and provision that would otherwise be expensive to maintain and provide via public services. However, we maintain that the infrastructure (National Grid, primary power stations, etc) should remain in public hands. |

From | Communist Party of Hobrazia | To | Debating the The future of Hobrazia's energy | Message | You speak of expenses. Can you put a price on the future stability of our nations energy. The current system leaves the gate open for capitalists to exploit the people. Prices may be regulated but in the end the company's needs will always be put first rather than the peoples. Nationalisation is the only way to ensure that the peoples needs are put first and in our opinion that is a small price worth paying. |

From | Partai Komunis Hobrazia | To | Debating the The future of Hobrazia's energy | Message | How can capitalists exploit people? The prices are regulated. They cannot exploit people because their method of exploitation is regulated. The system right now is quite perfect. |

From | Communist Party of Hobrazia | To | Debating the The future of Hobrazia's energy | Message | There is more than one way to exploit people, not just through price. Nationalisation is the only way to ensure that energy is completely regulatede and that the quality isn't affect by self serving corporations out to squeeze every last penny from the hands of the workers. Sure the price may be regulated however the law doen't state anything on the regulation of quality and other aspects which may affect our energy supply. Also there is no such thing as perfection as anything can be improved further and this is what we are proposing to do. |

From | Communist Party of Hobrazia | To | Debating the The future of Hobrazia's energy | Message | While we believe that article 1 of the National Power Generation and Consumer Supply bill is acceptable article two is not and this is the exact point we are debating. Also there is nothing in each of these articles which gurrantee quality towards the customer. |

From | Communist Party of Hobrazia | To | Debating the The future of Hobrazia's energy | Message | How will the people decide the future when it is out of their hands. Can people influence decisions made by the energy corporations, we think not. However can the people affect the decisions of a democratically elected goverment, we would like to hope so. |
Date | 23:58:22, November 14, 2007 CET |
From | Partai Komunis Hobrazia | To | Debating the The future of Hobrazia's energy | Message | If people don't like the services an energy corporations provide, they can buy energy from a different corporation. If they find that they do not like any of the energy corporations, they can petition the government to nationalise the energy corporations. As yet, there have been no such petitions. |

From | We Say So! Party | To | Debating the The future of Hobrazia's energy | Message | "Was your bill description passed into law. We think not."
- Indeed it was. The bill description is what describes the actions the government will take within the confines of the act and as the bill was passed then the whole act, description included, was enacted into law. |

From | Communist Party of Hobrazia | To | Debating the The future of Hobrazia's energy | Message | Despite your reasurances we still believe that this is the only fair way to anwser the question of Hobrazia's long term energy stradegy as it leaves the power behind our energy policy firmly in the hands of the people. |
