Bill: KLC Military Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: The Kuchifey Liberation Party (KLC)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2486
Description[?]:
Article 1: This proposal is designed to make sure the government has control over their military, while allowing for each militia to operate their own defense industries. Article 2: Limits the amount of power the national government has through the military branch (as it is under the control of the president). By passing this article you are still allowing for emergency situations (such as the Liberal Democratic Front's attack on Katzen) to be backed by the military, but also stop a police state from rising. Article 3: The term shall be one year, unless in a time of war. Article 4: Kafuristan shall stand independent. This article cuts any binds making us subject to international standards if such standards were to go awry. A scenario for this would be that international standards made execution the norm. This way we maintain our own hegemonic stature and uphold humanitarian values. |
