Bill: Beiteynu for the Beiteynuese

Details

Submitted by[?]: Ma'avak

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2487

Description[?]:

"For too long have we stood back and traded compromise with compromise in an attempt to appease everyone who thinks they might have even the smallest say in the political mechanism of the Sixth Jewish Homeland, but now the time has come to throw away these self imposed chains and purge ourselves of the liberal traitors that would gladly see us under the thumb of foreign invaders. Thus we present the new Ma'avak manifesto in an attempt to keep the glorious Motherland free from the ever encroaching claws of those that would have us eradicated and ensure the stability, prosperity and longevity of Beiteynu.

For the Homeland!
Five Mehozot!
Kahina shall not fall again!"

-- General Secretary Avidan Matusevitch

MessageThe RNP agrees with the resolution part of this bill, but little more than that. There are many things proposed here which have little to do with sovereignty, and are only being placed here in an attempt to have them approved through fear mongering. Compromise and negotiations are a much better way to get things done than fear and paranoia.

Message"While we can support most elements of this bill, namely articles 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15, we feel on the whole many articles in this bill are too far reaching to be enacted just now, and could only lead to division, rather than unity, in our nation."

Random fact: Particracy does not allow official national flags of real-life nations or flags which are very prominent and recognisable (eg. the flags of the European Union, the United Nations, Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union or the Confederate States of America).
