Message | And... why is that an advantage? If someone decides what Likatonia REALLy needs is a Museum of Fecal Art, why is the government sponsoring paintings that are, quite literally, crap... any better than an attempt by the government to try to preserve that which has cultural and artistic merit? |

Message | Because, in matters of Culture and art, one man's crap is another man's cultural and artistic merit. |

Message | That's not the answer - it only addresses half of what was said. Why should the government SPONSOR that? We are all i favour of people being able to make 'art' out of crap if they so chose. We applaud those with strong enough stmachs to go to a gallery of such exhibits. We don't see why money should be pulled away from a centralised resource for controlling the preservation of arts to support that, rather than sponsoring collections of Likatonian Old Masters. |

Message | If the government is to sponser art at all, than an arguement could be made for the sponsership of only new works. After all, the classic works have survived for centuries without government intervention, they will probably continue. New, cutting edge works, on the other hand, may well disapear without support and thereby eliminating the next generation's Old Masters. |

Message | Government does NOT have to sponsor museums of fecal art. Remember, the budget is approved by the CONVOCATION and we do not necessarily have to fund museums that have do not have fecal art. |

Message | Yes, we are voting to overturn our own law.... |

Message | If we only sponsor new art, how is the deteriorating classic to be renewed? How are the rare works to be brought together where they can be seen by the cultural descendents of the Likatonian golden age? |

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer. |
