Bill: Robotic Renewal Proposal 001
Details
Submitted by[?]: Robotic Anarcho Syndicalistic Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2487
Description[?]:
This was previously proposed, and endorsed by nearly all parties within Beiteynu, however, thought the PPP voted pro on the vote, they never took the actual oath. We wish to give the PP another chance to take the oath, and allow all the parties of the BRC to once again show their loyalty to the great state of Beiteynu. The remainder of this was written by: Ma'avak/Lohamei Herut Kahina -------------------------------------------------- Recognising that Beiteynu as a state and as a Jewish Homeland has over history found itself the victim of numerous attempts to eradicate it as a nation and that in the present day this threats are just as real as they were 1000 years ago and additionally recognizing that for Beiteynu to continue to function and prosper these threats must be attacked at the roots and removed from the political sphere we propose the following; I: It shall be passed into law that any political party wishing to register within Beiteynu must officially take an oath of support for Beiteynuese sovereignty over the five Mehozot of Endild, Fruskila, Padrilka, Quo'gün and Tadraki. II: Additionally any individual wishing to stand as a delegate to the Knesset must take the same oath. Therefore upon the passage of this bill any such parties or individuals that do not agree to the above will be stripped of their status as a party or a delegate and replaced immediately. As this is a constitutional amendment it will require a 2/3rds vote to pass into law. ***TEXT OF THE OATH*** "I, [PARTY LEADER] and the rest of [PARTY NAME], as citizens and loyal servants to the Motherland of Beiteynu do hereby state our overriding belief in and support of Beiteynuese sovereignty over the five Mehozot of Endild, Fruskila, Padrilka, Quo'gün and Tadraki. We do hereby reject any claims by any other nation or power that in anyway contradicts this inalienable right to sovereignty and self-determination; Kahina shall not fall again!" -------------------------------------- OOC: In game terms we of course don't have the ability to make parties illegal and so this would have to have an element of RP involved with it seeing as the Pntek Welfare Party (I assume, unless something very odd has happened) will continue to support Pontesian sovereignty over Tadraki and Endild. I think the best way to do this (and a way that we did things in a country I was in previous to Beiteynu) would be to declare them illegal but say the seats they gain in elections are merely reflections of the area of land under Pontesian control. Of course if/when we kick the Pontesians out again we'd have to change this around a bit. Is this ok with people? (Of course this is based on the assumption that this bill will pass which is may well not) |
