We believe in the light of poor industrialisation and rising unemployment in all provinces the government should intervene in Steel, Public Transport, industries etc to ensure our people get the best possible service |

Current: The government acts as an investor of last resort, by nationalizing failing industries that provide vital goods or services.
Proposed: Certain industries are owned by the state, all others are under private ownership.

Message | Monopolization leads to more unemployment and/or efficiency, not less. If these private firms are monopolies to begin with, it makes sense to regulate them; but nationalization is a sure-fire recipe for disaster, just look at the tens of millions who died over nationalized agricutlure--after all, what could be more strategic than agriculture? |
