Message | This bill will not take power away from the people. Article 2 says nothing of forcing people into larger farms, they are merely encouraged. As for article 1 we believe that it is hypocritical of the goverment to nationalise the major industies while leaving agriculture untouched. Having agriculture state owned is the best way of ensuring self sufficency and in the process lowering food prices which will in turn increase the living standards of the people. |

Message | The government already operates farms to produce strategic crops to guarantee the low price of all basic necessities (currently bread, cheese, and milk if we remember correctly). Above and beyond that, the governments duty should not be to provide for any and all whims of the populace and so we leave this duty to the private sector who can most easily adapt to the changing forces within which the industry operates. |

Message | The private sector cannot be trusted to put the needs of the people before their own. This is why we must change the current system. |

Message | Which is why the government provides for the "needs" of the people through state owned farms. The private sector deals with the wants of the people. |
