Bill: Increase of Proposal Quotas

Details

Submitted by[?]: United Liberal Alliance

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2101

Description[?]:

As you may have noticed, a new feature has been introduced to attempt to limit bill spamming by limiting the number of proposals that eeach party can introduce. See http://www.takeforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1857&mforum=particracy for more info.
Currently the limits are set at 8 proposals per year and 15 in total (presumably, although not made clear, per Parliamentary term. Whilst these may be ok, they appear slightly low to me (don't know waht the rest of you think) particularly given that there isn't really much in the way of bill spamming in Telamon. Luckily we have the possibility of raising these limits via consitituitonal amendments which is what I propose we do. I suggest something like a limit of 15-20 proposals per year, with an accumulative total overall of 30-40. This should be more than enough for our purposes, thouhg I happy to take other suggestions. We can always reduce them again if it becomes necessary to do so.

MessageWe agree if there is a longer term, otherwise, we see no reason for this here, because, as you said, it really isn't a problem

MessageI actually said that there isn't a problem with bill spamming. The current setting means that you can only make 8 proposals per year. That may be enough, but it may not which is why I proposed changing it
