OOC: As for restricting the quota, be thankful you arent in one of the countries that have wound proposals back to 1. It's a legitimate move that prevents new parties from gaining visibility and effectively entrenches those parties that do. Welcome to politics. That said, what would be your valid IC response, as opposed to an OOC one? |

| Message | Bad news for the CWFP - Rhonda IS an animal. We all are. Wht's that quote about the number of the beast? We are carefully examining our Book of Revelation, and see no such thing. Even if there were some 'number of a beast'... what would that have to do with the historical number of seats in the Convocation? |

Aside from the fact that this is taken from a work of historical fiction, it was recently decided that, in referring to the oldest available source, that 616 is the correct translation. (cf http://www.religionnewsblog.com/11134/beasts-real-mark-devalued-to-616 , http://www.csad.ox.ac.uk/POxy/beast616.htm) CWFP, I appreciate you are a simple creature, but why do you constantly need to bring real world religion into theis fictional game. It vexes me. IC: 1. We are expanding your ability to create Bills by 50%. Surely this is a step in the right direction. 2. WE are merely trying to restore a historical tradition, that most parties have commented positively on in recent debate. Surely we are not so superstitious as to believe that 666 is any more than a number? 3. We mean Animal in the most complimentary sense; after all, we are all animals, albeit highly evolved in most cases, but Rhonda has proven herself to be especially important, and now that she is no longer Emissary, I feel we should recognise her. It is a shame that the CWFP cannot go along with what is clearly the will of the people.. |
