Bill: Budget proposal of April 2487

Details

Submitted by[?]: Vanuku Corporate Alliance

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2487

Description[?]:

The Vanuku Corporate Alliance propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the National Corporation of Vanuku.

Given the atrocious grammar, spelling, and general composition of several draft proposals filed with the Board of Directors, the VCA believes it may have erred in not raising the budgets of our education and science ministries.

Therefore, we propose to right our admitted wrong, and offer the following budget revision. We suggest the lowering of several budgets to partially make up for the increased expenditures.

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with.

Random quote: "We are told that this is an odious and unpopular tax. I never knew a tax that was not odious and unpopular with the people who paid it." - John Sherman
