Bill: Call for early elections, December 2487
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Atheist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.
Voting deadline: August 2488
Description[?]:
We, the Nationalist Party, call for early elections. The latest election resulted in every party having a similar amount of seats. No party has a big enough majority to rule the country. As things are, doing anything could take a long time because there are so many parties with an almost equal proportion of seats. |
Proposals
Article 1

Thus, if this bill goes ahead, the Democrats nominate: Lucié Ormancey, Minister for Justice, as our Presidential nominee. Anna Bern, from the Progressive Party, as her running mate. Thank you. |

Message | multiple parties are not a bad thing and although we would probably gain from a new election we do not believe in doing so because it is expedient, and makes for easier policies. the people have spoken and we will do our best with what we've got |

Message | The people have a chance to speak again. Do you think we should abolish elections from now on just because the people have spoken now? Expedience can be a virtue and to be honest, the Senate needs a clear leader, so we can envisage what bills might pass before we propose them. Sen. Holly Penderson (D - KU) |
