Message | We see nothing in the Bill that specifies who the "private, recognised organisations" might be. In absence of any description, this Bill can really only be taken on absolute face value... and that means that we are replacing one law with another... a mechanism that requires a basic check and allow for central control and regulation... being replaced with the nebulous concept of independently regulated private enterprises. And no background checks. To us - self-administered control, and removal of basic criteria... sounds awfully like encouraging adoption to become a 'market'. |
