Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Jakania has erupted into a civil war between socialists and communists, and the legitimate conservative party's of the nation. The purpose of this bill is to:
- express Dorvish support and solidarity with the conservative coalition
- set up a cross-bench 'Jakanian Commission' that has the power to send money and aid to the conservative coalition in the form of military assistance; the Commission will not have the authority to interevene militarily in Jakania. We nominate Henrik Lederman, former Foreign Secretary to head the commission; during his spell as Foreign Minister, Lederman demonstrated his abilities in international relations and as such can be trusted to protect Dorvish interests.

MessageJust to clarify - the commission would be able to send military aid (eg weapons) but would not have the authority to use Dorvish troops in the conflict. No Dorvish troops will be harmed in the making of this conflict. Just thought I worded that poorly.

MessageAs a representative of the Social Responsibility Party, I implore the parties of Dorvik not to intervene in this struggle - the Fascists in United Jakania have painted their struggle as a fight against Communism, but the SRP is nothing like a Communist party.

The SRP supports a free market economy, and while we are the most left-wing party in Jakania, we are moderate centrists.

The right-wing coalition are nothing more than bullies and thugs, who see this civil war as a way to stop the rise of the true democratic party in Jakania, the SRP, as shown in the recent elections. Please do not listen to their propaganda and misinformation and look at the facts. It is the right wing coalition who started the war, with their only motivation the prospect of greater power for themselves.

Thank you.

Message'Parliamentarians of Dorvik, the Conservative movement in Jakania has been robbed of power for too long, we are the only coalition who care for our people. We make war in order to assure peace - supporting us is not the wrong move. I ask for your support'

MessageWe thank you for your consideration to help back our conservative brothers in Jakania. As the SRP has stated, your moves are being closely monitored by everyone by Jakania.

For too long has the left-wing coalitions limited our involvement on the international scene and promoting a decaying foreign policy of isolationism. On struggle is our last-ditch effort to change the regime in Jakania and strengthen our policies.

I would call into question the SRP's statement on promoting a free market economy, being left-leaning, they are more restrictive then any of the conservative parties. Just leading this conservative coalition is JIRP, promoter of true free economy, within the protection of individual industries threaten by international compitition and internationalist policies.

We call into question the recent elections, although the conservative coalition is not in power, JIRP abstained from some bills that had a strong public coverage. We lost the election to that. Take for example the SLP, one of the left leaning parties, it wasn't quite active like us, and they suffered in the recent election.

We aren't painting this against Communists. That is absurd! We have never accused the SRP of being Communist supporters. The FPJ has truely been struggling within the power base within Jakanian government. Our 'active foreign policy' has been a thorn to our left-leaning parties. We have our personal arguements with the SLP and SRP, but the SLP is our main problem, but the SRPs alliance with that detested party has thrown them into the same boat.

The SRP may accuse of us of placing propaganda and misinformation, but we implore you that the SRP is spreading their own propaganda. Few facts are still in place, but is for you to sort out yourselves.

Sincerely,
-- George Falco,
Foreign Minister of United Jakania

MessageWe would like to know the interest of the right wing coalition in receiving 71,000 DDO (137,413.40 JAK) to buy weapons . And request an authorization to begin the preparation of 50,000 militia troops to help the right wing retake the country. The SPFR will not neglect the rightful rulers of Jakania the support in this hour of need.

MessageSusanne Proust, SRP representative to Dorvik:

The JIRP have raised some interesting points, but are misguided in their thinking. Our point about a free market was meant to show that we do not propose a planned economy, as Communist systems do, not that we promote a totally deregulated capitalist system. While we are accused of spreading propaganda, they use the media to blame our troops for crimes they have not committed!

The struggle against these bullies will continue as long as there are still freedom-loving Jakanians living and breathing. The only sounds of gunfire and blood on the pavements will fade at some point, but the tradition of freedom will live on.

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action.
