From | Social Dynamist Party | To | Debating the Euthanasia Bill | Message | If suicide is legal, why should we single out those who most need our pity and prevent them from choosing to end their own suffering? |

From | Patriot Party | To | Debating the Euthanasia Bill | Message | There's a difference between suicide and euthanasia. I'm surprised you don't know the difference between the two. |

From | Social Dynamist Party | To | Debating the Euthanasia Bill | Message | This bill, if you look at the proposal, deals only with assisted suicide. Euthanasia can also cover assisted suicide as well as ending the lives of those unable to express their feelings, though this is not proposed. |

From | Communist Party of Endralon | To | Debating the Euthanasia Bill | Message | I'm sorry, but isn't murder defined as taking someone's life WITHOUT his consent? Euthanasia is suicide for those who live in pain with no hope of recovering - nothing more, nothing less. And this bill only proposes VOLUNTARY euthanasia anyway. ("...with consent from patient...") |

From | Patriot Party | To | Debating the Euthanasia Bill | Message | Endralon, you are if the person you want dead isn't conscience to give his or her consent.
We will not put our vote for this measure because of ethical grounds of doctors "to do no harm" |
Date | not recorded |
From | Social Dynamist Party | To | Debating the Euthanasia Bill | Message | First: this bill only allows assisted suicide where the patient is conscious and therefore able to give their consent. Secondly, no doctor will be forced to harm anyone. If any doctor feels they are breaking the hippocratic oath by consenting to assist suicide, they can simply refuse.
Do you have any other, more relevant reasons to oppose this bill?

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
