We STRONGLY support this bill, but we do believe that the Gov't should--at least--have ONE publicly owned media network for informative and educational purposes.

MessageThen the Government should bid for and fund one, just like any other organization. Why should government get a freebie?

MessageWe actually prefer the status quo to the innovations of the AM II here... although, obviously, we would prefer to see television and radio closed out completely.

AMI, we don't believe that the Gov't should get a "freebie." Rather, we believe that Government---acting as a PUBLIC TRUST of the People collectively---would be exercising its own SELF-interest in building and managing its own media infrastructure to get the best possible RETURN for the Taxpayers and then solicit corporate donations in exchange of "paid advertisement" that is commerical free (haha)!!!
