Bill: Ministry of Science and Technology: Robotic and Space Development 2493

Details

Submitted by[?]: 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2493

Description[?]:

Representatives,
As you are aware, the last major set of projects done by the Ministry of Science and Technology have all been completed, the last one with the launch of the last satellite in our Deep Space Communications System launching early this morning.

While under normal circumstances we would simply go about with the many other projects we work on, which is what we've done the last 30 years, however the two major research projects that we intend to start on involve international cooperation, public/private partnerships of atleast a decade, inter-departmental cooperation and require a large chunk of the Ministries overall money and resources.

Because of this we are seeking the approval of the appropriate Ministries (Sci/Tech, Foreign Affairs, Trade & Industry) and approval from the Folkstmma.

Sakura Arisawa,
Director of Projects,
Ministry of Science & Technology

MessageThey are more blanket projects than separate projects themselves.

The first, the 'Robotic Development Project' is a project dealing with the development of robotics technology in many fields, from industrial, to medical to military uses.
It will fund several different projects that will be decided on by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
[In other words I'll tell you what we made at the end]

The second deals with space research and technology development.
There are three key projects already decided on for funding in this, namely the orbital habitat research station, Hab-2, the Hyper-Reusable Single-stage to-orbit research project and the JTMS system.

MessageWe are'nt requesting any increase.

We simply require permission from the appropriate ministires, and, since we decided to, more than half the legislature voting for it.

MessageThe SCP shall assent to this proposal, but should no appreciable gains be made, there might very well be a withdrawal of funds from the ministry.
