Message | "Article 1: If we're to have a public pension plan, I'd be happy to mildly offset the economic damage it will cause by supporting a raise in the professional retirement age. Article 2: I think at an age of 16 an individual has the physical capacity to drink alcohol and the mental capacity to drive a car, make decisions pertaining to their finances and employment and to cast a vote if they wish. One must remember that at this age parental influence is still high, chances are they still live at home. The reason 16 year olds are considered adults is not because they're financially or in some cases physiologically independent, it's for practical reasons pertaining to physical action and political/financial decisions that an individual of this age is fully capable of making. Article 3: Zardugal has one of the most competent, capable and well funded police forces in the world, why should we give them the power to stockpile information on innocent citizens? You can't compromise on civil liberties. If one confronts a burglar who's broken into their home, the owner can't compromise by offering the burglar one table spoon from their silverware. When a right has being infringed, it doesn't matter what price is paid or the extent of the violation, there is no compromise. It's highway robbery, in this case, of Zardugali civil liberties." ~LP Spokesman |
