"Beneath the Likatonian Skies" In the heart of every Likatonian soul, Lies the spirit of freedom, brave and bold. From the Luthori shores to Likatonia's land, We carved our destiny with our own hands. Beneath the Likatonian skies, so vast and wide, Together we stand, with pride side by side. From East Bolton's gold to the fields of green, In every heart, the Likatonian dream is seen. Through the trials of revolution's fiery night, We sought our liberty, our sacred right. In unity, our voices rose as one, Under the banner of freedom, we were never undone. From the Native Likatonian's ancient song, To the settlers' hopes, enduring and strong. In every corner of this land we roam, Likatonia, forever our home. In the east, where the wild frontiers call, To the western lands, where the mighty rivers fall. Our nation's story, a tapestry so grand, Woven by every woman, child, and man. Arise, Likatonians, in unity and might, For our land, for our freedom, for our right. Under the Likatonian skies, we pledge our love so true, To our beloved land, red, white, and blue. |

Message | Well, the anthem we proposed does have kazoo accompaniment in the original arrangement... |

Message | While we would have liked to supp... oh, who are we kidding. The advantage to smaller reasons is not only unexplained and illogical, but also - not what the Am II claimed in their flavour text. We could care less about most of the items, to be honest, but we see no rationale behind a constitutional amendment of this kind. |

Message | We just feel that Meria is getting a rough deal; there aren't enough prefecture seats there to give it a fair voice... |
Date | 14:11:03, December 01, 2007 CET | From | Kapitalist-Arbeitsfamilien Partei | To | Debating the Immeressent Thinking |
Message | We are ADAMANTLY opposed to #5, but 4 out of 5 is ok. P.S.: While we do sympathize with the INJUSTICE that the voters in Meria are experiencing, we believe that the BEST solution would just be EQUAL representation. |

Message | There is no injustice to Meria. If it has a fraction the number of citizens, it deserves a fraction of the elctoral seats. They may feel that Merian interests are not well represented... but giving them greater PROPORTIONAL representation means every other prefecture is less well represented... with less cause. |

Message | [OOC] TDP, we FINALLY agree on something (haha): that is that it is wrong to give people in Meria greater "proportional" representation when they have a smaller population. That is why I am VIGOROUS supporter of BI-cameral legislatures in which the UPPER house would be based according to population while the LOWER house is based on EQUAL representation. In this way, EVERYONE benefits (haha)!!!! |
Date | 17:34:32, December 02, 2007 CET | From | Commonwealth Workers Army | To | Debating the Immeressent Thinking |
Message | On the other hand - we don't care about bicameral representation. We prefer the government of self by self. No cameral (bi, or otherwise) representation can ever represent the individual as well as the individual himself (or herself). |
