Bill: Bill Guaranteeing Suport to the Deltarian Liberation Front
Details
Submitted by[?]: Démocrates de la Gauche
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2495
Description[?]:
This bill will guarantee Jelbania's support to the Deltarian Liberation Front. As what has happened is that Right's Lutheran Party has declared civil war as a member of their anti-Junta coalition has dessented and given the propoer authority to declare war on us. Thus the Right's Lutheran Party has invoked civil war. What this bill will guarantee is that we in no way will support the Junta of Deltaria in any way, shape or form. And through later introduced and passing legislation we will guarantee more support in more detail.

From | Revolutionary Constit'nal United Front | To | Debating the Bill Guaranteeing Suport to the Deltarian Liberation Front | Message | You're kidding me? They're all just a lot of godless commies. You can't trust them worth a damn. What they're saying is just a plot to make us too dependant on one type of bastards so that the other type of bastards moves in for the kill. Then all the bastards gang up on us and the bastards we're allied with turn out to be no less bastardly than the bastards who plowed their guns into our country!
--(Retired) Gen. William Hornathew Buck, Former Minister of Defense
The CUF would like to add, though we do not support the entirety of the Retired Generals objection, his point should not be overlooked. Though we doubt that it's an insidiuous plot to lure us into supporting opposition parties in Deltaria, we feel that it would dilute our resources needlessly. It may create a weaker primary front. So until it is established that we have excess resources with which to support insurgents within Deltaria, we cannot rely on others to fight this war for us. Later, we may support this resolution if there is no contingency to provide any resources and/or coordination, but we do not feel that this is the correct time for this.

From | Démocrates de la Gauche | To | Debating the Bill Guaranteeing Suport to the Deltarian Liberation Front | Message | We can't stand like a pole in water and wait for the tide to come in. The Right's Lutheran Party is literally saving us from having to deal with the rogue SSK. They are going to invoke civil war for the sake of them having the courage to deal with their own internal difficulties and not by dragging other nations into this ordeal. Well for those of you who don't want to support them maybe the Right's Lutheran Party should let them attack us, I am not saying they should do that, I don't want them too. But the Right's Lutheran Party is invoking civil war, JUST FOR US! They are not doing it for personal gain. I am a person who wants to wait and see what happens, but what the thought right now is that we should be isolationist and withdraw from the matters of the world. Well if we don't support the Rights's Lutheran Party now. Then generations from now we will be invoking civil war against our Deltarian overlords. All I am saying is that you should be conservative, but there is a time for preemptiveness, and this is a time. I beg all of the parties for the sake of our future, for the sake of our grandchildren we must fight this enemy over there and fight a good fight, or we will be facing them on our beaches, in our cities, and in our homes.

From | Dobré Podnikatelia | To | Debating the Bill Guaranteeing Suport to the Deltarian Liberation Front | Message | The Constiutional United Front must understand that the Right Lutherans Party, People's Communist Party, Communist Party, and the Labour Party are all against the SSK. We have been since they introduced their far-fetched ideas in the Duma (our law-making body). We, the Right Lutherans Party, have also been working hand-in-hand with a Jelbanian political party in order to continue peace in our nations. It is because of these ties that we were tipped off of what was happening and hurried to embark on civil war. |

From | Dobré Podnikatelia | To | Debating the Bill Guaranteeing Suport to the Deltarian Liberation Front | Message | The SSK is in Alliance with all the parties of the Deltarian Patriots League. This League was created to be "sympathizers" to the Deltarian People. However, it has become more obvious that they wish only to ruin our heritage and plague us with terror. |

From | Revolutionary Constit'nal United Front | To | Debating the Bill Guaranteeing Suport to the Deltarian Liberation Front | Message | In light of changing conditions, we would like to withdraw the venerable General Buck's proposal of a pre-emptive strike. We will however wish to intervene in Deltaria and deploy our forces to work with the Deltarian Liberation Front. If that is acceptable, we would like to propose the commencement of airstrikes against key SSK (and Deltarian Patriots League) targets, as soon as possible. The sooner we reduce SSK's military capabilities, the less of a threat a full-scale invasion of Jelbania will be. |

From | Démocrates de la Gauche | To | Debating the Bill Guaranteeing Suport to the Deltarian Liberation Front | Message | Well maybe we should slow down and evaluate everything first. The civil war hasn't been invoked yet. So in this case we all support the DLF. However as of yet we have received word of a planned DLF attack on the DPL stronghold of Chachtice Province. However if the RLP sends us all messages and keeps us updated on strikes and attacks we could know where help is needed and where it would be tactically best suited.

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections. |
