Message | You can't keep taking money out of Justice. For some reason it's one of the smallest paid facets in our government which makes no sense at all. |
Date | 01:22:06, December 03, 2007 CET | From | Union Hosienne-Démocrate (UHD) | To | Debating the Budget proposal of October 2494 |
Message | I think our originial budget was sufficient, but far from perfect of course. We do not agree with any changes proposed here. Maybe the Forpees should put their money where their mouths are and instead of dictating a new budget to the Senate (which, we might add, is before the Forpees are booted from this particular ministry) they engage in democratic discussion and negotiation with all parties involved to create a unified and sufficient budget. A truly democratic way, for which, it might be noted, the Forpees seem to claim THEY are the true bearers thereof. A form of Senatorial corporatism is what is needed here, not dictatorial "plurality" mongering. But alas, corportism is the truest form of democracy and with the Party laying the groundwork, a bright future may be at hand. |

Message | In view of increasing tensions with Rildanor it hardly seems wise to reduce our defence spending. |

Message | Holy MERDRE PPK! We would never go to war with Rildanor! That's like... modern day Sweden and Norway! |

This is what ecologically-minded socialists have been exploring for quite some time now." - Louis Proyect |
