Bill: Fireworks Act
Details

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2495
Description[?]:
"What the people of Zardugal must understand is that fireworks are far more dangerous than their image in pop culture would lead us to think. They are nothing more than bombs, and they are bombs that parents allow their children to play with. Children have been permanently damaged, scarred, even killed by these colorful bombs. Now I enjoy a good fireworks show as much as anybody, but I know full well I would never wish to handle one of those myself or, God forbid, allow one of my children to handle them. By permitting this we are endangering innocent children who know no better. So let's keep the fireworks, but leave them in the hands of competent professionals. That doesn't seem too crazy, does it? Vote with the lives of children on your conscience, and thank you for your time." -Daniel V. Feterokov, in the proposition speech to the National Directory |

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play. |
