Bill: Defence Industries

Details

Submitted by[?]: Irish Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2497

Description[?]:

We find it ridiculous that the current legislation exists. Defence is a VITAL part to our country, and is what will hopefully give us the upperhand if we ever get invaded by a rogue nation. Now the LP and others go on and on about how the law for nuclear weapons should allow us to us them at any time, so that an invading country can feel the full force of our military. Yet, they allow these private companies to take care of our defence.
Ridiculous, and a complete contradiction. In order to give ourselves the best chance of defending ourselves, it is important that we have unique weapons and strategys that only our government knows about.....not something that these private companies COULD possibly sell to an enemy.
