MessageWe will not vote for this.

Article 1
All people have a right to healthcare, it should not be something they pay for.

Article 2
Regulation will cost even MORE money than not regulating it, and there really is not reason to regulate its production.

Article 3
No. Phone service has been provided, free of charge to all Sekowans since before the DSP existed, and has been a valuable service to the people.

OOC:
Even if these passed, they would'nt do anything, since the only way to change things is for spending/tax bills to be made that fix the problem, and only the Head of State (currently me) and the Ministry of Finances (currently SCP) can make those.

MessageDemocratic Socialists: We have not removed universal health care. Under this bill, Sekowo would still grant universal healthcare. It would not, however, continue to distribute free pharmaceuticals.

Per article 2, this was listed under "economic", and not "cultural" issues. Presumably, "regulation" ensures that all hemp production will be taxed, and not smuggled out of the country untaxed.

We would be willing to withdraw articles 2 & 3 if the DSP would vote for the bill.

OOC: These things cost money, even if the game is too broken to reflect this.

MessageWould the phrasing "Reduction of Government handouts based on thievery meant to benefit the slothful" suit the USMC better?

Random quote: "The problem is big government. If whoever controls government can impose his way upon you, you have to fight constantly to prevent the control from being harmful. With small, limited government, it doesn't much matter who controls it, because it can't do you much harm." - Harry Browne
