Bill: The Zardugali Population
Details
Submitted by[?]: Saiserist League
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2497
Description[?]:
"Whilst we at the Revolutionary Socialist Party generally believe in the government's right to determine standards, we have realized that population control or encouragement is something that cannot be handled by a one-size-fits-all policy, because different regions have widely different needs. Sparsely populated areas may need to encourage larger families, whilst overpopulated areas can set restrictions or mere incentives for decreasing the population so the resources can be spread across a smaller board. Obviously this proposal may have to be altered in the future by a national standard, possibly if there's a dire crisis in overpopulation for example." -Daniel Vladimirovich Feterokov, in the proposition speech to the National Directory |
