MessageDeltaria has not only kidnapped a dozen diplomats and subsequently tortured, and even killed some of them in the past, including two from Sekowo.

Beyond that Deltaria is an oppressive authoritarian state that gives its citizens no rights and has recently gone to war with Jelbania for no reason than to kill its own soldiers because the corrupt leaders that control a majority fear revolution.

I don't think there's any reason not to vote for this, not unless you're a traitor to Freedom, Democracy and international peace.

MessageHow long ago did Deltaria Nova do this?

This treaty states that absolutely no international visits between the officials of the two states shall be made. What is most disturbing is that this bill would absolutely prevent any sort of visit from a Deltoria Nova ambassador, trying to negotiate the reintroduction of trade, even after Deltaria Nova has changed its ways or a new group has come to power there.

If that provision were removed, we would vote for this treaty (as much as we dislike submitting to international legislation). As stands, however, we cannot support this treaty, as it eliminates any incentives Deltaria Nova might have of changing its ways and then send an ambassador to Sekowo to discuss how this is so.

MessageDeltaria Nova is a puppet state off the coast of Dovani.
The Deltarian Federation is the state that has done this.

And the Deltarian Federation just recently passed there war bill, and the diplomat thing happened a few (game) decades ago.

Deltaria has been the way it is more or less for centuries, and is unlikely to change.

OOC:
Deltaria Nova is the small island country with one party, it's one of the two countries that someone actually owns, and will basically just go along with whatever Deltaria says.
