| The PSFVP is a strong beleiver in the power of the deterent as a means for peace. If we wish to live in peace, we must show aggresive nations that we have the strength to counter any attack. Our laws on biological weapons currently states that we will use them only if we are attacked with such weapons first. We beleive this is an excellent deterent, allowing us to be peaceful and non threatening, while still strong enough to deter attackers. Yet our current law does not allow us to produce the weapons needed fr deterent. This must be rectified. To paraphrase an old saying about contraceptive that the PSFVP beleives applys to this issue "its better to have them and not need them, than it is to need them and not have them". |
