Message | We are also against this. We believe in religious freedom for all religions (hence we oppose an official state religion, even if it is voluntary), but also, and we see this as very important, that people should be free from the imposition of religion. We could support article 1 though, with the understanding that public officials would not promote their religion as better than others while carrying out their duties. (ooc: I think it would be good if we started specifying which religion would be the state one in these cases) |

Message | Christianity would be the state religion. We are quite pleased to see that RCF has become RT!! We will support these efforts to bring back our great religious traditions! May God Bless Jelbania!!! |

Message | Why is this party trying to force people to act morally? And we strongly strongly critisize the UCC's actions in supporting this method of forced moralization. |

Date | 00:00:03, December 11, 2007 CET | From | Centre Démocratique | To | Debating the Restoration of Religion Act |
Message | We would like to clarify one thing: not all people who claim to be Christians are moral. And we do not believe that all atheists or non-Christians are immoral. So perhaps we do disagree that if these policies come to be, it will not automatically make all Jelbanians moral. |

Random quote: "John Burroughs has stated that experimental study of animals in captivity is absolutely useless. Their character, their habits, their appetites undergo a complete transformation when torn from their soil in field and forest. With human nature caged in a narrow space, whipped daily into submission, how can we speak of its potentialities?" - Emma Goldman |
