Artikel 1 Proposal to change the age at which a person is considered an adult from 16 to 24. We should preserve the wonder of youth for as long as possible. We do not feel that this should carry any stigma, and in order to prevent certain losses of liberty, we would like to make the following stipulations: Suffrage should be given at age 18 (We will shortly be introducing an Education Bill to assist with this policy) Consent should be placed at age 16 Military or Civilian service should take place (if mandated) before the age of 24, and should not include any tour within combat zones or high risk areas At age 24, state support for an individual should be reduced to an absolute minimum, except in exceptional cases, and a grant of one years salary (taken as the average Likaton salary -10%) given to the individual as a 'start-up' fund. Artikel 2 Proposal to compel all nationals are required to register their race and religion In order to be representative, we need to make sure that all races and religions are acknowledged and accepted. There should be no stigma or secrecy. No-one should be ashamed of their race or religion. The main practical uses of this data are as following: So that Health and Welfare agencies are supplied with appropriate facilities, recruitment guidelines, and training to manage any racial or religious practices sensitively. So that the law enforcement and legal establishment can be sensitive and appropriate when managing issues of a racial or religious nature. We all know that advertising done by private companies is basically lies. We propose that the department of internal affairs allocates resources to advertise fairly; placing direct comparisons of any product with it's three main competitors in a like-for-like listing. Any company wishing to advertise should pay their advertising fees to the Dept Internal Affairs, who will then produce a fair and balanced advert, giving ethical, environmental and quality based comparison data. Artikel 6 There are quotas based on nationality to determine how many foreigners may reside permanently in this nation. We like foreigners. With their exotic foods, and funny clothes, they make our nation more colourful and vibrant. Living in Likatonia, however, means being Likatonian. If you don't want to integrate, if you want to remain separate and foreign, then we need to ensure that we don't lose our cultural heritage, and that means making sure that any are has a managed demographic of native Likatonians, naturalised Likatonians, and immigrants. (For example, 70% native born, 22% naturalised, and 8% foreign). We manage age demographics, skills demographics; why not nationality demographics? Artikel 7 The nation does not allow any visitors unless a specific permit is authorized by the Foreign Minister. We propose that as part of background checking, the Minister authorises (through his Ministry) all external visitors. This will be more secure, safer, and prevent illegal immigration, people smuggling, and other unsavoury activities. Artikel 8 The government requires foreign missionaries to register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As part of Article 7, and linking to Article 2, we believe that hate speech, radicalism, and evangelism are disruptive, dangerous, and un-Likatonian, and thus propose a screening process to avoid such behaviour, reducing the need for Schießen, schlagend, and other police activities. |
