Details
Submitted by[?]: AM Radical Libertarian Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2500
Description[?]:
The AM Radical Libertarian Party propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Axis Mundi Likatonian Res Publica. These cuts will remove the burden of income taxation upon the people of Likatonia, as well as freeing essential goosd from sales taxes. It will reduce revenues by 94,000,000,000 LIK; we are currently running a surplus of 124,000,000,000 LIK leaving a surplus of 34,000,000,000 which we will address at a later date. It is the people's money; we are but the stewards of it and must make an accounting of ourselves! |

Message | We support Article 1, but Article 2 we cannot support. We are pleased with the fact that there are evidently no persons residing in Likatonia who possess disproportionated wealth (given that 1% of all those earning >50,000 LIK is 0 LIK). We wish to keep it this way rather than seeing the gap between rich and poor increase once more. |
