Bill: Friends, Trigunians, Countrymen!
Details
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2500
Description[?]:
Has Trigunia become a better place since we were turned into an identityless Federal Republic? It is time for change is it not? Perhaps, a compromise can be reached between our opposing visions of Trigunia: A russian speaking Trigunia with a Tsar (for the royalists). Tell me, friends, do you enjoy the repetitive elections which deliver the same results over and over, and your bills which either pass or they don't, and usually change nothing? It is time to create a Trigunian culture (as I seemingly failed to in the past) to give Trigunia some background as well as interest. |

Message | If Trigunia is lacking in noble families (as happens when you have a history of communist rule) Deltaria has many noble lines who'd be pleased to be granted title in Trigunia. |

Message | ooc: I think OOC and IC shouldn't be mixed. So point of this vote is to establish Trigunian culture as majority Russian speaking? |

Message | OOC: I want to gauge how much support for it there would be. I want to see if we could reach a consensus on making Trigunia a russian state constitutionally. I'd accept a monarchy if the constitutional things were in Russian. I should have said OOC at the beginning, but nevermind. |

Message | We think the marriage of a member of our former petty aristocracy (We did not eliminate them fully) to a Deltarian princess might be a good idea. That would give them more legitimacy as holders of the royal title. |

Message | Regarding the aristocracy, we can easily create a new one from the worthy citizens of today's Trigunia. No need to import degenerate nobles when we can get them from our own country. |

Message | ooc: Well, I admit that ordinary english federal republic is not very interesting. That was partially a reason why I promoted latin style Imperivm Trigvnvm (which I probably cant press through without me personally having 66% of parliament :) . On other hand, russian seems to be everywhere most popular choice for everyone who RP as commies. Also as probably most of you know even less Russian then I do, then grammatical mistakes are hard to avoid (especially as cyrillic alphabet complicates things). |
