MessageNew Endralon has allowed the unconditional use of nuclear weapons for any reason. With this attitude, it would help for our own policy of the very same nature. It will help to ensure that they will not use them against us, because we do not have to wait to receive such a strike or to verify that it is currently taking place.

MessageWe are sympathetic to this bill. The Socialists of Endralon should not be allowed to threaten us.

MessageResponse to the CCU: Although the AAP are a (generally) peaceful movement, the threat to our national security cannot, and SHOULD not be ignored.

The AAP representative has been authorised to extend cautious support for this bill.

MessageAs commentary to the RWLP, in support of this bill: there are currently risks to our sovereignty that suggest we MAY need to defend ourselves - perhaps even pre-emptively.

Also - just because the Likatonian government CAN authorise nuclear weapons, it does not automatically follow that they WILL.

Thank you for your consideration.

MessageI cannot express my frustration at the proposition and support for this bill. Pre emptive defense does not exist. That is offence, and nothing else. There is no situation in which I can consider it morally right to employ nuclear weapons, even in retalliation, considering the torturous pain and loss of innocent life that ensues, not to mention environmental damage. However, posessing nuclear arms for defensive reasons is understandable to me, if not acceptable. This is not at all understandable, as not only will it demonstrate to New Endralon that we feel threatened it will also appear as a threat to other nations. How do we know that this policy was not taken up by them for similar reasons as those you are proposing now? Don't let our country become part of an international nuclear panic wave - if we don't get involved we will be safer in the long run.

MessageResponse to the RWLP: The AAP sides with the RWLP that pre-emptive nuclear strikes are undesirable, but we also accept that the Bill just allows the Likatonian military the OPTION of using nuclear weapons. It doesn't make it compulsary.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols.
