Bill: A Budget fit for 2500: Changing times, changing paces

Details

Submitted by[?]: Democratic Workers' Party and CTUL List

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2500

Description[?]:

The Partei demokratischer Arbeiter propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Axis Mundi Likatonian Res Publica.

We propose to invest the huge surplus the government revenue is currently generating in key services in industries. Our proposal sees most notably the budgets of Health and Education Services doubled. Investment in Trade & Industry has risen in order to improve Likatonian productivity and generate greater employment and wealth.

Following cross-party consultation, it has been agreed to also increase expenditure in Defence, and Science & Technology.
