Bill: Call for early elections, September 2500
Details
Submitted by[?]: Progressive Conservative Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.
Voting deadline: May 2501
Description[?]:
We, the Liberal Party of Baltusia, call for early elections as soon as we can reach a consensus. Since taking office in December 2490, Praetor Sloan Brown III has done nothing for the people of Baltusia. It has been ten years since he first took office and only 39 bills were taken to the floor of the Senate. A total of 10,409 votes have been cast. 55.68% of those votes were against the government. An average 267 Senators come to work each day. That is less than the usual administration. The people of Baltusia are unhappy. That is why I must call for elections. If the government of Sloan Brown III is not defeated, I will resign the leadership of the Liberal Party. -Tendaji Kofi Olympio, Leader of the Liberal Party of Baltusia |

Message | "If the government of Sloan Brown III is not defeated, I will resign the leadership of the Liberal Party." I dare say that's incentive for some parties not to go to an election. |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
