Bill: Ecological Federalization Bill (2501)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Normand Pluralist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2502
Description[?]:
We hereby propose that certain industries be further localized, as the Polis of Sekowo have rich and varied local natural traditions. As a caveat to this bill, local governments will still be required to: 1. Continue protecting forest land as required by Sekowo's other relevant laws. 2. Work with other local and federal governments to ensure that overhunting and overfishing do not occur. Local governments are free to forbid entirely the hunting and fishing of certain species, at certain times, or in certain areas. Local governments who fail to safeguard the natural resources of Sekowo run the risk of having localized management of these resources revoked. 3. Keep a list of wild animals which may not (if applicable) be kept as pets. It is required that they work with other local and federal governments to ensure local and national safety from disease and other large-scale risks. |
