Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberal Socialist Party of Darnussia
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2502
Description[?]:
The free market WILL NOT allow easy access to books. Private dealers cannot be trusted to sell their books so that they may be readily accessible to those who cannot otherwise pay for them.. Books should be readily available to the populace. Any mind may contribute to a society, but not when that mind is not able to grow through education. And an education is easily accessible through a public library, through books. A library will be able to provide an education for those who may not be able to pay for it, otherwise. Minds cannot be fostered by the private sector. |

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections. |
