Message | We fully agree to this reasonable bill. |
Date | 01:20:32, December 18, 2007 CET | From | Order Of The Illuminati | To | Debating the Public Decency and Sexual Leniency |
Message | Public sexual acts should not be automatically criminalized, and should be handled on a case-by-case basis by the citizenry rather than the government. For example, if two people are caught in a public park around many disapproving people in the middle of the day, citizens should take direct action and voice their disapproval, and call for the offending parties to cease their activities and "get a room." In the case of nightclubs and social clubs that are sexual in nature, the persons leading these clubs should voluntarily warn all persons entering that sexual acts may take place within their realms, and have persons who enter their premises consent in advance to witnessing or participating in sexual activities. Any place where consenting adults gather publicly and the majority within approve of the sexual nature of these places should not, under any circumstances, be cited criminally. The government should be limited to dealing with matters of sex in non-consenting cases only, as in the criminal violation of an individual (sexual assaults and coercion/abuse of minors). |

Message | Those do not count as 'public' places, and sexually implicit acts are not covered by this bill. This bill would allow for sexually implicit acts, merely drawing the line at sexual intercourse itself. |

Random fact: "Game mechanics comes first." For example, if a currently-enforced bill sets out one law, then a player cannot claim the government has set out a contradictory law. |
Random quote: "No one today can afford to be innocent, or indulge himself in ignorance of contemporary governments, politics and social orders. The national polities of the modern world maintain their existence by deliberately fostered craving and fear: monstrous protection rackets. The 'free world' has become economically dependent on a fantastic system of stimulation of greed which cannot be fulfilled, sexual desire which cannot be satiated and hatred which has no outlet except against oneself, the persons one is supposed to love, or the revolutionary aspirations of pitiful, poverty-stricken marginal societies like Cuba or Vietnam. The conditions of the Cold War have turned all modern societies - communist included - into vicious distorters of man's true potential." - Gary Snyder |
