Message | Those of our citizens currently earning between 5715 LIK and 19,000 LIK do not need to be taxed in order to support a surplus. With Our corresponding small cut in the budget of the Ministry of Silly Walks, I mean the Ministry of Education and Culture, we can free them from this burden and not descend into defecit spending. |

Message | Absolutely yes. |
Date | 11:33:00, December 19, 2007 CET | From | Democratic Workers' Party and CTUL List | To | Debating the Income tax proposal of December 2502 |
Message | We agree with the principle of cutting tax for lower earners, but we cannot support this bill as it currently stands given our opposition to the budget proposal - the figures would not add up. |
