Bill: Multi-Race Ensurance of Civil Liberties

Details

Submitted by[?]: Junker Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2104

Description[?]:

In a world of hate, violence, and the occassional mixing of both, it is extremely important to guarantee the same rights to people of "color" that the "white populace" are given. It is to say, any person, regardless of sexual preference, religion, or origin, should be given equality under the constitution of the state. Although it is very possible that Aldegar provides this under it's own moral instutions and decisions, it has not been written in stone, consequently, this bill is the very chance that we have to do said thing.

The Junker Party feels that this is one of the most important stepping stones to full incorporation of all peoples of Aldegar, especially the Jewish population, which has been slowly growing, and the black population which has been growing in all regions. Nonetheless, the Jewish and Blacks do not necessarily gain advantage - they are equals to everyone else, as the bill denotes.

We implore that all parties vote yes in this respective bill - it is only for the well being of the people of Aldegar.

Message[Technical Note: Sorry, this is my first bill, and I saw "move to vote" and I clicked it, expecting that I would be denied since I have no power in the government thus far. So, sorry for moving it past the debate thread, although there's not a lot of debating anyways.]

MessageThe Democratic Alliance has always supported equality for minorities, but we would like to draw attention to some of the dubious international inter-pary organisations to which the Junker Party belongs, such as the 'Fascist International', the 'Global Aggressive Military Alliance' and the 'International Authoritarian Organisation' (which declares, 'The parties of the IAO do not wish society to degenerate into chaos, and as thus make decisions with basic rationality, not with civil rights'). Peculiarly, they combine membership with these organisations with an association with the 'World Jewish Organisation' and, bizarrely, the 'Non-Racial Fascist Union of the World'. Obviously a bizarre brand of politics...

Perhaps the Junker Party should be more careful over the organisations it associates with, before we can take it's statements about the rights of minorities more seriously?

We will not be voting for this motion, because it is an elaborate charade by which the Junker Party wants to persuade people they are a mainstream party, when actually they are a collective of extremist wackos.

Come on, Aldegar - is a party that goes around calling itself the 'Junker Party' and hangs out with the international fascist elite really the organisation we should allow to take the lead on the civil rights debate? It is evident they have been seduced by a lot of silly and unhealthy political ideas, however harmless we might think they 'really' are. Let them set their own house in order, and demonstrate their commitment to civil rights through their voting record and through changing some of their friends, before we support them in passing a motion like this.

MessageNovy Smer shares some of the concerns about the Junker Party as a self-proclaimed fascist party which have been expressed by the Democratic Alliance. But since we can find nothing to really object to in the text of the motion we shall concur. We only hope that the Junker Party really means this and continues to show respect for the human rights of all Aldegaris.

MessageYour obvious misunderstanding of fascist politics proves your inadequacies as the largest shareholder of seats in the Grand Council. Fascism has nothing to do with civil liberties, and is more of an economic system - an elaboration, let's say. The fascism of Italy and Germany was completely incorrect - racism was never an issue in true fascism - it was just use to mobilize the people for war in both countries.

Our right wing views having to do with the military, have absolutely NOTHING to do with our beliefs in civil liberties. Your listing of our organizations was just an attempt to gather other parties to oppose us. Regardless, we can see that some parties have some sense in them.

It was the choice of your party to oppose a bill that would guarantee equal view uder the law to all people of all religion, opinion and origin. Ultimately, that's your party's loss.

[Sidenote - Nothing to do with this bill: The Junker Party, as explained in the introduction, is VERY Machiavellian, and is an inter-racial fascist party. Believe it or not, there are Jewish fascist, as well as black fascist, and every other kind of fascist you can think of.]

MessageWe suggest the Junker Party's leaders educate themselves about the meaning of the word "fascism" by looking it up in the dictionary:

For the Junker Party to pretend that fascism can somehow be something acceptable or 'normal 'in modern politics is not funny or clever or trendy; it is sick.

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with.
