MessageNot too long ago CAM proposed legislation that addressed the issues in RAPE's 3 articles in this bill. CAM's bill passed and that made it illegal to be naked in public, to have sex in public, and to have sex for any means other than procreation.

CAM supports family values, a return to the nuclear family, and as such it cannot support any legislation to the contrary. CAM admires RAPE's intention of returning some rights to the people of Telamon. However, those people elected members of all our political parties to the Telamon Parliament to legislate on behalf of the people. The people of Telamon subscribe to the beliefs, some or all, of the parties they supported. As such, the people of Telamon want public sex, gay sex, and public nudity to be illegal.

This bill is directly against the wishes of the people of Telamon and flies in the face of Telamon's best interest.

MessageWe hold the same values it seems. Rape hates fags as much as anyone, but we value personal responsibility above all. We trust that the people will choose to live clean lives of their own accord, not because the government threatens to jail them if they do not.

MessageCAM objects to RAPE using the derogatory term "fag" to homosexuals. CAM does not hate homosexuals or anyone else. CAM does not, and is supported by the people of Telamon, support homosexual's life style and choices on this matter. CAM hopes that the added legal deterrent will help those in violation of these laws to see the error of their ways.

Hoping people will "live clean lives of their own accord" is all well and good but at the same time we don't expect people to not murder, rape, and pillage other people just because. We have laws to ensure that people will not murder, rape and pillage. Responsible government, which our parliament is, must see this and act accordingly.
