Message | Perhaps now, with our narrow Rightist majority, we can finally bestow upon His Majesty a formal and legally recognised title. |

Message | It's best to keep the monarch secular so as to avoid any arguments for control and authority the Church might have. |

Message | We remind the UDL and its atheist anti-monarchist allies that, according to the Déclaration de l'Indépendance Unilatérale, 2494, which upon its passage became part of Rildanorian constitutional law, only amendable with the consent of 2/3s of the Sénat du Rildanor: "Article VII - The Royaume Chrétien de Rildanor is hereby declared to be a Christian nation, with the Orthodox Catholic Church being the state church of Rildanor. All members of the Royal House of Nareath shall be members of the Orthodox Catholic Church." Therefore, while not being legally enforceable, the Orthodox Catholic Church is constitutionally-defined as the 'state church of Rildanor' and Rildanor is defined as 'a Christian nation'. We hardly think that recognising the fact that faith is important to Rildanorian history and monarchy within the royal title of His Majesty will abrogate our so-called secularism. |
