Message"This bill is proposed as a follow-up to the Right To Bear Arms bill proposed by the ELF a short while ago. The rise of political violence in this country, in which political leaders are being assassinated and sympathizers to certain parties within the executive branch are abusing their powers to execute and jail political opponents, we feel it is in the best interests of the people to allow them to defend themselves against the growing possibility of government repression, and from political violence carried out against them by other political organizations.

While critics suggest this could take our country one step closer to plunging into civil war, we believe it is a necessary cautionary measure that will prevent further political violence. Abusive and corrupt judges and police officers will think twice before acting against the people, and mobs of political criminals will think twice before unleashing violence against armed citizenry."

Message"The principle of this bill seems perfectly fine, but we would ask that an additional clause be added stating that if this militia resists police or government forces, the right be reserved to call in a neutral, preferably international, body to decide whether the militia had reasonable cause to do so, adn consequently pass judgment and punishment, in the form of fines, community service or imprisonment onto either the militia members in question or the police/government officials in question. We are for the rights of the people to defend themselves against oppression, but not for them to senselessly murder policemen, so such a clause must be added."

MessageDefinately not. First of all, it is the duty of the nation army to resist attacks from other nations. If citizens want to help with the resistance, then they join the army / defence forces.

Second of all, this is more or less giving temporary permission for anarchy on our streets. Fair enough an international body can be called in and a tribunal set up, but what happens until this tribunal is set up (which will not happen instantly). The police can not arrest militias shooting at them because they have to wait for the tribunal to be set up and decide if their actions are justified or not.
