| This bill will provide for Telamonian recognition of the Terran Olympic Committee (TOC) and for the nomination of a Telamonian delegate to sit on the committee. It will also allow Telamon to compete in the Olympic Games. (see http://www.takeforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1906&mforum=particracy for more info). In accepting membership of the TOC, "we, the government of the Telamon Commonwealth, hereby accept that the Terran Olympic Games will be most definitely an apolitical event, free from all political and economic schisms. We pledge to uphold this and support the values of friendly competition, camaraderie and lasting international peace." This bill shall be taken to have passed when it receives more yes votes than no votes - all those who are not interested are asked to abstain. We also need to decide which party is nominated as Telamon's representative to the TOC, if this bill passes. |
