Bill: Condemnation of DSP Violence (2505)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Normand Pluralist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2505
Description[?]:
This resolution calls for the condemnation of the DSP's aggressive naval action against our economic ally, Pontesi. We censure them for their beligerent and hostile actions towards Pontesi, and demand that they withdraw at once. We fear that Pontesi may view these as an act of war, and Sekowo cannot currently afford a draining war with a foreign power at the same time that its own civil war continues to go unresolved. The DSP seems to have no regard for the Sekowan lives they may be endangering. We also condemn the DSP for stealing a prototype Sekowan military submarine. This sort of thievery from the political parties of Sekowo should not go unpunished. |

Message | The Normand Independent Militia would help escort the Pontesian ships themselves, but they lack any sort of major naval force with which to resist the Socialists. |

Message | 1. There has been no violence, all Pontesian ships have simply been told to turn around, and if they need refueling, they've been allowed to do so before leaving. 2. We refuse to help a Fascist state in any way. 3. The DSP provided the navy with both the basic blueprints and many technicians for the project, it's as much ours as it is the Navies. |

Message | the DSP chastises others parties for breaking the laws of their nations yet you willingly break the Sekowon law? Hypocrite. By doing this you will surely bring war between Pontesi and Sekowo, should this happen, the DSP alone will be held responsible. |

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
