| Message | 'President' is dull, unimaginative, and too many other nations name their Executives that. Even if we don't want to use egalitarian, alright socialist, terms, we can still use a better title. How about 'Steward of the People'? Or even just 'Steward of the Nation'? 'National Steward'? We like 'Steward' because it denotes that the title-holder is a servant of the nation and its people, rather than being a ruler. 'President' and other common Executive titles make it seem like the holder is somehow higher than other people, and we shouldn't perpetuate that. We're just firing off ideas, let us know if any one is actually worth anything. |
