Bill: Military Services Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Ducal Delegation
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2105
Description[?]:
The military has managed to remain aloof from the progressive changes in equal opportunities policy which have spread over Aldegar in recent years. Whilst we respect the need for the military to have a degree of independence from government interference, it is time they modernised some of their practices - not just in the interests of fairness, but because the military needs the widest recruitment pool possible in order to be able to attract people with the diverse range of skills it needs. |

Message | Women should be allowed to serve on the frontline, because they are more frightening than men. |
Date | 23:13:57, September 01, 2005 CET | From | Sanctaphrax Party | To | Debating the Military Services Act |
Message | We disagree with article two, like the Novy Smer Party, we believe that women are just as capable as men of fighting in the frontlines. Besides which, we hardly want to become the next target for radical feminists. If a woman wants to fight on the frontline and can pass the same exams as the men, let her in. |

Message | We also disagree with article two. |
